Anthony D'Angio created one sheet posters of upcoming films in order to expand his creative portfolio in line with his love for the film industry. The designs were based on the early premise of the films and sometimes did not reflect the final outcome (ie., change of actors and more specific genre), but ultimately it became a very popular resource for movie and art lovers worldwide - being featured on forums in iMDB, JoBlo, Rotten Tomatoes and numerous specific film forums. Over time, some independent commercial work was a result of this portfolio, including shorts and features which either won or were nominated for awards at various film festivals. As Anthony amassed regular visits to his MovieArt site (approx. 50,000 a month, 60-70% which were unique), the hobby became a little too laborious to maintain and he turned his focus to a more realistic money making venture, his passion for photography (www.adangio.com) and reluctantly decided to remove the Movieart website in late 2006.
